Backwater Docks took a contract in December 2024 for a dock renovation including a used 12,000 pound lift, new shed, extended roof, and a skidoo lift, trading in a 8000 pound lift. A $20K project. $10K Deposit was given to Seth with an expectation he would start the following week.

Seth was very responsive in the sales process, had decent information. As soon as the deposit was received, he became difficulty to reach. providing vague answers, would not talk live, would not meet. He had every excuse you can imagine.

References were checked, but believe he gives the same 3 or 4 references (friends) to all his prospects.

Seth denied any wrong doing, he stated to send him a Venmo request for refunds, which occurred, but funds were never refunded. Backwater docks is now 100% unresponsive and has hidden his Facebook sites from being viewed by people with claims against him.

Stay away. He is believed to be an intentional scam artist. Google him on face book “in the Lake of the ozark contractors” page or “Lake of the ozark services” page. Several inks below.
